Microspizias

Bird genus - Gen. nov.: Microspizias Sangster et al., 2021 is a newly described genus for the clade comprising the strongly phylogenetically diverged Tiny Hawk and Semicollared Hawk, formerly placed in Accipiter (Sangster et al. 2021; SACC 942). See also Olson (2006) and Kocum (2008).
