Canachites

Bird genus - Spruce Grouse and Siberian Grouse do not form a monophyletic clade in recent phylogenetic analyses, but rather Siberian Grouse is a basal taxon within a clade that includes Spruce Grouse, Tetrao and Lyrurus (Kimball et al. 2011; Persons et al. 2016; Kimball et al. 2021). Recognize the resurrected genus Canachites as distinct from Falcipennis (AOS 2021).
