Mustelirallus

Bird genus - Mustelirallus is resurrected for Ash-throated Crake, formerly included in Porzana, but which is closest to Neocrex and other members of the Aramides clade (Garcia-R et al. 2014; SACC 650). Expand Mustelirallus to include species formerly assigned to Neocrex and Cyanolimnas which is supported by phylogenetic analyses and some morphological features (Garcia-R et al. 2014, 2021; Brown et al. 2022; Depino et al. 2023; Chesser et al. 2023).
