Eurocephalus
Bird genus - Phylogenetic analsysis suggests that Eurocephalus is not a true shrike but that it and Platylophus are deeply basal taxa within the Laniidae-Corvidae radiation (Fuchs et al. 2019, McCullough et al. 2022). As with Platylophus, it would likely require it own family. Retained in Laniidae pending further resolution.
