Thlypopsis

Bird genus - Thlypopsis is expanded to include Pyrrhocoma and Hemispingus superciliaris (the type species for Hemispingus) which are embedded in that genus. Since Thlypopsis, Pyrrhocoma and Hemispingus were all described in the same work, Cabanis, 1851, Burns et al. (2016) act as first revisers in selecting Thlypopsis Cabanis, 1851, to take precedence over Pyrrhocoma Cabanis, 1851, and Hemispingus Cabanis, 1851, as the name of the redefined Thlypopsis (Burns et al. 2014, 2016; SACC 730).
