Bird genus - Genus nov.: Joseph et al., 2020. The monotypic genus Synorhacma is newly described for Charmosyna multistriata, which is genetically highly divergent from Charmosyna sensu stricto and has distinctive plumage (Smith, BT et al. 2020; Joseph et al. 2020).
